Meet the Presenter

Director, Max Kaiser, has worked in various aspects of the video and film world since graduating from Yale University in 1994, and then an intensive film workshop at New York University. Max is also the past director of the NWProjections Bellingham Film Festival. Outside of filmmaking, Max enjoys spending time with his family, playing tennis, sailing and skiing. Max founded Hand Crank Films in 2003 as a feature filmmaking company, and expanded it to include commercial and corporate film production with HCFmedia.

Max’s films, commercials, and corporate films have received numerous awards including the Cine Golden Eagle, the Goldie, and the World Media award for excellence in documentary production, the Addy for nonprofit tv spot, the Mercury Broadcast Award for nonprofit films, and numerous Telly awards.
